Welcome to the Office of Community Outreach and University Events

The Office of Community Outreach and University Events develops and implements efforts to support the priorities of the strategic plan of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science:

Expand and continue to integrate interprofessional education experiences through community outreach service
Assist an academic pipeline plan with partnerships that build upon the strengths and needs of both the University and the external community
Collaborate with alumni and the external community through educational, research and service partnerships and collaborations
Increase collaboration on diversity-related activities and build strong relations with entities within the local community

The Office of Community Outreach and University Events has seven key responsibilities:

Assesses and responds to community needs in collaboration with faculty, staff and students
Facilitates work of University community outreach committees
Reaches out to students and expands their knowledge of community servicea opportunities

Works with partner organizations to develop and expand existing programs
Works with faculty and staff members to leverage their involvement in community programs
Collaborates in planning and supporting on-campus events for the Division of Institutional Advancement, including donor recognition and alumni purposes
Prepares and implements communications programs for community outreach and university events programs
