Candidates for advanced standing or transfer to Scholl College should contact the Scholl College Admissions Office. Consideration for advanced standing or transfer is at the discretion of the Admissions Committee and decided on an individual basis. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must:
1. Advise the Scholl College Admissions Office.
2. Apply via AACPMAS.
3. Apply prior to February 29, 2012, no exceptions.
4. Have successfully completed all coursework, credit hours and admission test requirements for first-year admission.
5. Provide a letter from the dean of the podiatry school currently attending. Please be advised that all applicants that are interested in transfer/advanced standing status at Scholl College, must apply with the same requirements (current MCAT, transcripts, LOR's) as new applicants. In addition, candidates must be in good academic standing at a current professional school or have left a professional institution in good academic standing and have a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Candidates may be required to pass placement examinations at the discretion of the faculty in order to receive transfer credit and advanced standing placement. The final approval of any course for transfer credit is under the authority of the Dean of the College.
The Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine program has developed an articulation agreement with Lewis University. This Intercollegiate program seeks to identify prospective students from Lewis University with an interest in the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Under this agreement, students will have the opportunity to participate in an accelerated, 3+4 program receiving both the Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Lewis University and the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.
