Learning Styles Inventory

One of the tools we use in Academic Support Services is the Learning Styles Inventory. This is a tool that helps us explore your learning style, and make sure that your educational experience at RFUMS is supportive of your style. We will explore how you study, how you take notes, and how you interact in study groups and discuss if you are optimizing your preferred learning style, as indicated by the Learning Styles Inventory. 

You can complete the Inventory right now; it should only take about 10 minutes. It will take you to an external page where you can complete the survey. After you complete the survey and click “Submit” and you will receive your final results. We suggest you print this form and schedule an appointment with Academic Support Services to learn more about your Learning Style and how to take advantage of it to study more effectively.

To better help us serve you, we request that you please submit your results by completing the Learning Styles Inventory Report Form. 

     1. Click on the Learning Styles Inventory Report Form
     2. Enter your RFUMS school, program, name in the appropriate places
     3. Enter the appropriate score for each area of your learning style
     4. Click the submit button, then contact us to schedule an appointment

These surveys are designed to give you an indication of how you prefer to learn new information but should not be over-interpreted. Learning styles are not based on intelligence, but rather indicate how you tend to function most efficiently to learn new information.
