Alumni and Community Affairs On behalf of the Office of Alumni and Community Affairs and the Alumni Associations we serve, welcome to Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science! As an alumna/us in training, you are joining an interprofessional community of more than sixteen thousand graduates across the United States and around the globe. The mission of the Office of Alumni and Community Affairs is to develop relationships and establish lifelong connections between RFUMS and its alumni and community, leading to increased support for the institution's mission and goals. Successful relations are the result of the strategic and deliberate cultivation of alumni and friends as leaders, advisors, advocates, benefactors, educational partners and volunteers for Rosalind Franklin University. Student and alumni interaction is at the core of our work. The Alumni Associations of Chicago Medical School, Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and the College of Health Professions sponsor a variety of programs to connect students and alumni throughout the year. White Coat/Rite of Passage ceremonies, networking receptions, job shadowing, scholarship benefits and mentoring are just a few of the opportunities designed to engage alumni in support of current students.
