Campus Security

The mission RFUMS's Department of Campus Security is to promote and maintain a safe and secure work and learning environment in which the University's educational goals can be successful. Our relationship with the University family is intended to foster mutual trust and to encourage all members to make security a priority and to personally share responsibility for reducing opportunities for criminal activities. We strive to attain the highest level of ethics and professionalism in carrying out our mission.

Security Services

• A University Shuttle runs to and from the Lake Bluff Metra Train Station. This is the train to and from the city of Chicago. The next page will provide you with more information on the RFUMS shuttle as well as The Metra Train.

Parking on Campus

Campus Security also oversees parking regulations on campus. All students who are attending the University will need to obtain a student parking pass which can be done during your on campus orientation. Your first parking pass through the University is free, replacement or passes for additional vehicles are available for a nominal charge.

Students can park in either the North or South Parking lots, as long as their parking permit is displayed and they do not park in a reserved, handicap, or visitor parking space. These spaces are clearly marked.
