Contracts
Student Housing Contracts are a binding agreement between the student and the University.

  • Contracts are granted based on a lottery drawing of all applications submitted by March 13, 2009
  • Students will be granted contracts by lottery number and preferences
  • Each student must apply for one of the contract periods listed below

Contract Period I: May 1, 2009-April 30, 2010
Contract Period II: August 1, 2009– May 31, 2010

  • Contracts will be issued at the beginning of April per the lottery results
  • General Move-in information will be emailed at the beginning of July.
  • Contracts after the lottery will be based on application date and availability of preferences

Assignments

  • Assignments will be made according to lottery number and preferences
  • Students can apply for one of five assignment types:

Single Students

  1. Individual One-Bedroom

One student requesting a private, single apartment

  2. Shared Two-Bedroom

One student requesting to share a double only with a specified apartment mate. Both students must request each other on the application (if an entire two bedroom apartment is not available the applicant will not be issued a contract).

  3. Individual Two-Bedroom

One student requesting to live in a double with an assigned roommate
(Roommate preference is an option but if an entire two bedroom apartment is not available each student may receive a contract in separate apartments) OR Student Housing assigns a roommate.

    Families

  4. Family One Bedroom:

One student requesting to share a single with a family member

  5. Family Two Bedroom:
