Request for Economic Hardship : Defers monthly/quarterly loan payments with no interest accruing for a total of three years, one year at a time

Request for Forbearance : Defers monthly/quarterly loan payments up to three years, one year at a time ; however, interest will accrue during the deferred period(s). Interest that has accrued during Forbearance is to be paid during or immediately after the deferred period, but before another deferment is applied.

Request for Hardship Deferment : Defers monthly/quarterly loan payments up to three years, one year at a time ; however, interest will accrue during the deferred period(s). Interest that has accrued during the Hardship deferment is to be paid during or immediately after the deferred period, but before another deferment is applied.

Request for Deferment : This form contains a variety of deferments that can be applied to your student loan or loans such as:

In-School Half-time or Greater, Residency, Graduate Fellowship, Active Military Duty, Peace Corp Volunteer, and others.

Request for Cancellation : This form cancels a portion of your Federal Perkins loan for engaging in teaching, public service, service in the Peace Corps or ACTION, or service in the military. A full year of full-time service must be completed to cancel a portion of your loan. You may also use this form to apply for Pre-Cancellation Services; meaning, if you are working full-time in a qualified field, but have not completed a full year yet.
