If you want to make the copyrighted work available electronically (e.g. D2L or CD), then * determine whether the work is available to the public on the internet, and if so, don't make a copy but rather insert a hyperlink to that internet address;
-or-
* determine whether the work is available through the library website and, if so, don't make a copy but rather insert a hyperlink to the library to access through the library website (e.g. electronic journals);
* determine whether you meet the requirements of the Instructional Broadcasting limitation;
* apply, in good faith, the four factors of the Fair Use Doctrine;
* obtain permission (frequently, this is the appropriate option).
