Instrumentation in the lab allows for kinematic analyses, or spatial and temporal measurements of movement such as linear/angular displacements of body segments and associated velocities/accelerations. The lab is also equipped to investigate the kinetics, or forces, associated with movement. Both the forces necessary to generate movement and the resultant reactant forces applied to the body as a result of movement are of interest.
