DIVISION ASSESSMENT

1. Fellowship training program is fully accredited without any stipulation until 2005.

2. Endocrine-diabetes-metabolic division teaching staff is limited. It has continued to pursue patient care, education and research despite heavy load on the faculty to fulfill administrative duties.

3. The goal and objectives for the coming year include expanded academic activities at the affiliated institutions and within FUHS/CMS.

4. Needs and Requirements.

(a) To add teaching faculty as the current active teaching staff have multiple other obligations which can affect the training program.

(b) To rectify current situation of 3 fellows vice 4 by procuring an additional training slot at the affiliated hospitals or developing an additional training site for at least one training slot.
