The division has been active in its research, particularly with expansion at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Active teaching with students continues at the three sites and is avidly sought for by the students. Fellows in the program are actively involved in clinical research.
Future Goals: To continue to develop an on-going research basis at both major sites to see if there is a possibility of developing a second ID fellowship slot at Mount Sinai Hospital in the future.
Further Needs: Possibility of increased automation available at the Mount Sinai site and additional support for clinical research being done by the 3 faculty members there.
