Medical College of Wisconsin-Community Mental Health
Type: Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Community Mental Health
Setting: Outpatient mental health clinic located within a medical college
Description of Practicum: We offer training in outpatient treatment of mentally ill adults over age 18. Our clients are indigent and we serve homeless individuals as well as some clients who are employed. Most clients are chronically mentally ill.
Practicum Requirements: Third or fourth year students only
Supervision: 1 hour weekly of face to face individual supervision.

Didactic Training Opportunities: Grand rounds every Wednesday morning-free to students-other seminars and experiences as appropriate.
