Leslie Guidotti, a second year graduate student in Psychology at RFUMS, was recently interviewed during the American Epilepsy Society meeting in San Diego, California as part of a presentation on juvenile myoclonic epilepsy (JME) associated with cognitive deficits. The presentation was based on data collected as part of an NIH grant awarded to Bruce Hermann (University of Wisconsin – Madison) and Michael Seidenberg (RFUMS) addressing cognitive deficits and magnetic resonance (MR) anatomical differences in children with new onset epilepsy compared to age-matched healthy children. The article appeared in CNS News on April 1, 2007.
