The Office of Clinical Affairs may be able to assist you in matters common to all graduate medical education training programs (GME) , i.e. residencies and fellowships, which include but are not limited to:

  1. University and Medical School policies and procedures including grievances,
  2. State of Illinois medical licenses,
  3. Visas and IAP-66's,
  4. Training program contracts,
  5. Salaries and benefits for trainees paid by CMS, and
  6. Graduation from GME training programs.


The Office of Clinical Affairs may be able to assist you in matters common to all continuing medical education programs (CME) , which include but are not limited to:

  1. Assist in the processing of your CME application for your activities,
  2. Assist departments with their regularly scheduled conferences, e.g. Grand Rounds,
  3. Assist your department with the collection of needs assessment data,
  4. Assist in the management of CME funds.
