Welcome to the Division of Pulmonary Medicine.
The Pulmonary division of the Department of Medicine at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science provides comprehensive patient care and medical education and opportunity for diverse clinical and basic pulmonary research.
The fellowship program is fully accredited till 2012. There are 2 training sites – Veterans Affairs Medical Center, North Chicago, IL and Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago, IL. The training at these two sites is complimentary and provides highest quality patient care for a wide spectrum of pulmonary Diseases.
The commitment of the faculty to training of fellows, residents and medical students has been exemplary. The faculty and fellows have contributed immensely to achieve goals and objectives of the program.
The curriculum of the program is comprehensive and competency based according to RRC guidelines. The Division of Pulmonary Medicine offers a wide array of clinical service in the diagnosis and treatment of Pulmonary and Sleep disorders. The clinical facilities include inpatient and ambulatory care facilities, bronchoscopy suites, spacious pulmonary function laboratories and a full service sleep laboratory. Our Division’s research activities are diverse with tremendous depth in important areas of pulmonary medicine and sleep.
