STUDY ABROAD GUIDELINES
Students wishing to study abroad must obtain and read the CMS Waiver and Release Policy for Study Abroad and subsequently read, sign, and submit to the Office for Student Affairs the CMS Waiver and Release Form for Study Abroad. Copies of the signed Waiver and Release Form will be kept on file in the CMS Office for Student Affairs.
One source of information on required health and evacuation insurance is WorldTravelCenter.com, through which you can compare providers on the basis of coverage and price. (Note: If you carry the RFUMS-supported student health insurance plan [i.e., Destiny], you are covered while abroad, with no need for an additional policy.) Information about appropriate immunizations/vaccinations is available through the Center for Disease Control.
