Research Support Grant # 189903 Duelli (PI) 1/1/2011-12/31/2011 American Cancer Society Mechanism of Selective MicroRNA Release from Cancer Cells. The goal of this study is to identify the mechanism by which oncogenic transformation changes the cellular export machinery that releases miRNAs into the environment. BC076659 Duelli (PI) 11/01/2008-10/31/2009 Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP), Concept Award. MicroRNAs of Exosomes for Early Detection of Mammary Neoplasms. The goal of this study was to develop tools and protocols to enrich for mammary exosomes from body fluids to identify sets of exosomal miRNAs that predict tumorigenesis and tumor progression. Research Grant 08-29 Duelli (PI) 5/01/2008-4/30/2009 American Cancer Society. Oncogene-Dependent Apoptosis in Tetraploidy-Induced Tumorigenesis. The goal of this study was to identify oncogenic domains and regulators of the apoptotic pathway required for oncogene-dependent apoptosis induced by tetraploidy.
