Dr. Ahluwalia has been Chairman of the psychiatry department at MSHMC since 1988 and has been on MSHMCs Board of Trustees, since 1998.  A board certified psychiatrist and an experienced administrator and clinician, he has long been associated with academic psychiatric programs.  In 1993, he organized the department's first annual Chicago clinical neuropsychiatry conference.  He regularly teaches students and residents at MSHMC.
