Electives

Sophomore Elective Offered: 

• MRAD 600 Introduction to Diagnostic Imaging

RAD 600 will be offered during the 2011-2012 academic year  during the Winter and Spring Terms to M2s.  All enrollees must have completed the year one Anatomy course. 

Enrollment is arranged through the Registrar, Office of Admissions and Records.  Withdrawals must also be done through the Registrar's Office.

• MRAD 601 Radiology Research Elective - No Openings At This Time.

Senior Electives Offered:

Enrollment eligibility must first be approved by the CMS Office of Student Affairs (OSA) – all applications for intramural electives must be sent to OSA.   OSA will forward the applications to the CMS Department of Radiology for final approval.  Response will be sent back via email.

If a student wishes to cancel an approved application, written notification to OSA is required, and should be done at least four weeks before the beginning of the rotation date.

• MRAD 810 Radiation Therapy Clerkship at Center for Advanced Care at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital    Prerequisite - diagnostic radiology 
• MRAD 812  Vascular and Interventional Radiology Clerkship at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital    Prerequisite - diagnostic radiology
