Materials and Resouces
Everything from food to office supplies to light bulbs and beyond can be examined for their impact on the environment and whether or not they have been manufactured and supplied to consumers with an eye on sustainability. The element of materials and resources looks at what is going out the door in the form of garbage (all types) and how this waste can be managed to incorporate the concepts of reuse, recycling, and reduction.
