How to apply

1. Review the Admissions Requirements

2. Submit an Application through PharmCAS 

  • Application opens in June.
  • PharmCAS application deadline is March 3.
  • Due to our rolling admissions process, applicants are encouraged to apply early in the cycle for best consideration.

3. Submit your Transcripts to PharmCAS

  • Transcripts must be official.
  • Please include transcripts from all universities and colleges you have attended.

4. Submit your Standardized Test Scores to PharmCAS

  • PCAT - All candidates seeking admission to the College of Pharmacy will be required to take and submit official scores from the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) when completing a PharmCAS application.
    • Please use the PharmCAS code 104 when requesting scores.
    • PCAT exams scores which are older than June 2011 will not be considered in the 2013-2014 admission cycle.
  • TOEFL - Applicants who are not native speakers of English will be required to submit official scores from the Internet-Based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

5. Submit your Letters of Recommendation to PharmCAS

  • Two letters of recommendation from individual members of the faculty (preferably science), employers, supervisors, or pharmacy professionals are preferred by the admissions committee.
  • Letters from additional health professionals and personal references or recommendations may be submitted in addition to the academic evaluations at the candidate's option.

6. On Campus Interviews

  • Select candidates will be invited to campus for interviews.
  • Because of our rolling admissions schedule, those who apply early in the admissions cycle are more likely to be interviewed than those who apply later.

  • Accepted students must pass the AACP Facilitated Centralized Background Check. 
  • Information about the process will be sent to students upon acceptance into the College of Pharmacy.
