Margot Surridge, M.A. - Ms. Surridge has worked in medical administration for about 35 years,
with approximately 30 years in academic administration. She has held faculty positions
in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Wayne State University, and in
the Department of Medicine at the University of Kansas. Ms. Surridge received her Bachelors
degree in Psychology from Wayne State University and her Masters in Health Administration from
Central Michigan University.
Ms. Surridge joined Rosalind Franklin University in March 2003 to assume the position of Vice
President for Finance and Administration. In 2006 she accepted the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. She oversees Administration, Operations, Purchasing, Mail Center, Shipping and Receiving, Facilities Management, Campus Security, Human Resources, Real Estate, Information Technology Services, Creative Media Center, Planning and Institutional Research, Student Financial Services and University Strategic Planning.
In addition to her role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, in 2007 Ms. Surridge accepted the position of President of Rosalind Franklin University Health System (RFUHS), a subsidiary of the University. RFUHS provides patient care in the fields of podiatry, behavioral health and reproductive medicine while serving as a training facility for the students of Rosalind Franklin University.
