Podiatry Management featured Bijan Najafi, PhD, and studies conducted by the Center for Lower Extremity Ambulatory Research (CLEAR) at Scholl College in an article about foot ulcers. The Community Care Connection mobile health unit made its first community stop and visited Benton Township. Rosalind Franklin University volunteers helped at the first 5k organized by the Central Lake YMCA in Vernon Hills. White Coats were bestowed on the first class of students at the College of Pharmacy.
Science published an Education Forum article by a group of national researchers, including Lise Eliot, PhD, that examines single-sex schooling. CLEAR research at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine won an oral presentation award at the International Diabetic Foot Conference.
