Our mission is to recognize and enhance faculty talent to assist CMS students become exemplary and compassionate physicians ready to practice and lead in an interprofessional environment.

Our Goals:

 CMS Talent Enhancement Network

  • Create a CMS faculty that is informed on accreditation, issues and trends 

  • Create a CMS faculty that is proficient in teaching CMS students as directed by CMS competencies and objectives

  • Create a faculty enhancement curriculum that is aligned with student curriculum

  • Develop a faculty talent network that recognizes the vast existing talent and utilize it to enhance other faculty

  • Develop an alumni faculty talent and recognition program that serves and benefits from out talented alumni body

Our Role:

 
  • Identify strategies for motivating and engaging key stakeholders and faculty in charge efforts 
  • Educate and understand the evolution of the role and profile of faculty at this time
  • Help faculty understand and utilize new adult interactive learning techniques to better connect with students
  • Identify and develop new talent in the institution
  • Engage in strategies for increasing scholarly activity among clinical faculty
  • Work with offices of clinical, undergraduate and graduate affairs to remedy regional campus challenges such faculty evaluation, scholarly activity through education
