Dr. James Keller attended medical school at Michigan State University. After residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit, he completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Northwestern University Medical School.
Dr. Keller was the residency program director for the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. He has been the director of maternal and fetal medicine at Illinois Masonic Hospital, Christ Medical Center, and Lutheran General Hospital. Presently, he serves as the chairman of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and as the medical director for maternal-fetal medicine for the Advocate Medical Group.
His role as an educator has been recognized with outstanding faculty awards from both the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics and the Council on Residency Education on Obstetrics and Gynecology.
