The CMS Office of the Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Global Health Initiatives is pleased to announce that the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center & Rosalind Franklin University’s CMS Faculty Development & Global Health Initiatives are working together to create a common academic identity between both institutions.

Please join us for our second grand rounds "The Generation Gap In Medicine: Can’t we all just get along?" on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. in the FHCC, Bldg. 134, Room C108, 3001 Green Bay Road, North Chicago, IL 60064.

In addition, the CMS Global Health Scholarship Committee will award scholarships to CMS students who participate in approved global health for-credit courses in an effort to 1) decrease the educational debt for medical students interested in global health and 2) facilitate activities during global health electives that will benefit the host institution or community. You may be eligible to apply for the CMS Global Health Scholarship. We encourage you to apply!

Global Health Scholarship Policy

Fourth year medical students can receive intramural credit at the Medical University of Innsbruck. Medicine and Surgery subspecialty electives two to four weeks in length are available in the month of February. Pre and post trip sessions at CMS are required. An introductory course in the German language is strongly encouraged.
