This online education (web based) program offers a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Management . Students complete course work at home with no on-campus attendance required. Students can access the course materials from anywhere in the world, at any time, as long as the computer they are using has access to the Internet and a web browser. The curriculum is designed so that students enroll in and complete courses each quarter that are structured in a manner determined by both course content and the instructors' educational philosophy.

The purpose of this program is to prepare students to become future leaders in the healthcare industry.

To achieve this goal, students educational experience should:

  • Enhance interprofessional administration and management skills.
  • Foster the desire and skill to engage in the clinical inquiry process.
  • Assist students in developing competencies in the areas of business and healthcare knowledge, general and business knowledge of the healthcare environment, communication and investigative attitudes toward research, business and leadership expertise in healthcare.
  • Enhance the ability to engage in self-directed, life-long learning.
  • Prepare the graduate for leadership roles in the clinical setting.
  • Prepare students to plan healthcare services that are sensitive to the socio-economical and cultural needs of the community.
