Student Health Services

It is our pleasure to announce the transition and development of student health services. The Rosalind Franklin University Health System will offer convenient health services to students at the clinic located at 3471 Green Bay Road just south of the Woodland Apartment Complex. Student Health Services is essential to the greater mission of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Through the presence and use of these services, students conserve and make more effective use of classroom and study time. Student expenditures related to health are managed through personal insurance, required by the University. Student Health Services assists students in pursuing and achieving personal and academic goals in a safe and healthy campus learning environment.

The focus of care will be:

- Occupational requirements

- Immunization services

- Exposure incident follow-ups

- Immediate care:  Diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries

- Student Counseling

- Preventive health care maintenance
 

Students are encouraged to manage chronic conditions in conjunction with the student's specialist or primary care provider. If that is not practical, students should seek specialists or primary care providers in the area. Student health services will seek to assist students in need of new providers.

To access care students should call 847-473-4357 for an appointment. Student Health Services are currently provided by Edward Magid, MD and Annette Boban, PA, Immunization Coordinator. For continued immunization consultation and review please call Ms. Boban at 847-578-8502.
