Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science granted continued accreditation status
On October 29, 2008, The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools approved continued accreditation status for Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science with no interim reports or other site visits required. The next scheduled comprehensive evaluation is expected in 2018-2019.
RFUMS Statement of Affiliation Status and Organizational Profile
Rosalind Franklin University was granted candidate status by the HLC in 1971 and achieved full accreditation at the doctoral level in 1980. For the past two years, RFUMS has been engaged in a process of self study addressing the Commission’s requirements and criteria for accreditation which culminated in a successful HLC Survey Visit in April of 2008.
As we approach the 100th anniversary of the school in 2012, this process has been a golden opportunity to celebrate our strengths and prepare for a successful future.
