Presentation of Diplomas at Commencement Exercises

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science honor our graduates by having the Dean of each school present diplomas to graduates on stage at Commencement Exercises.

 

Alumni Presenting Diplomas

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science extends the honor to our alumni of presenting diplomas in lieu of the Dean on the occasion that the current graduate is an immediate family member of an alumna/us of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. The graduate must make a direct request to make this presentation when they apply for graduation no later than March 31st of the current academic year.

 

For the purposes of this policy, immediate family members are defined as a spouse, child, parent/official guardian or sibling of a current graduate.

 

All requests for alumni to present diplomas as part of Commencement Exercises will be reviewed by the Commencement Planning Committee, and alumni status will be confirmed by the Office of Alumni Affairs.  Graduates and alumni will be notified if their request is accepted no later than one month prior to the Commencement Exercises.

 

Regalia for alumni presenters will be provided by the University.  

Faculty Presenting Diplomas

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine also extends to faculty the honor of presenting diplomas in lieu of the Dean on the occasion that a current graduate is an immediate family member of a current faculty member at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
