 Fitness and Recreation 

Mission and Goals
 
The Office of Fitness and Recreation, within the Division of Student Affairs is here to enrich the educational experience by providing opportunities that focus on the development of lifelong wellness skills for students. The Office of Fitness and Recreation provides programs in intramural sports, fitness, wellness, and sportsmanship.
 
The Office of Fitness and Recreation provides a safe recreational environment where students can participate in extracurricular activity. The Office of Fitness and Recreation promotes fair and competitive behavior with an emphasis on sportsmanship and campus community. The Office of Fitness and Recreation advises the Athletic Club on campus, provides general on-site oversight of activities and is the contract for off campus facilities when needed for intramural sports.
 
The Office of Fitness and Recreation oversees the Fitness Center which is designed to help students reach their goals of physical wellness. The Office of Fitness and Recreation coordinates group exercise offerings on campus and coordinates off campus student membership fitness rates.
 
 

Intramurals and Recreation

Intramurals are provided in the sports listed below. Different sports are offered during the fall, winter, spring and summer semesters and can be either a competitive league or a pick-up session.

Fitness and Wellness
 
The Office of Fitness and Recreation provides opportunities for every student to help reach their goals of physical wellness. The Fitness Center along weekly fitness classes are provided free to all RFUMS students.
