Whether your shipment is small or large, we ask that you take advantage of the University Shipping Department and ask for our assistance. We have package scales, carrier packaging, bubble wrap, paper wrap, shrink wrap, strapping, packing tape, bill of ladings, and shipping labels available and access to University Federal Express and UPS account meters and printers. Our Shipping Department can assist with packaging, researching, and obtaining the most cost effective shipping services available for your department. All Shipping and Receiving / Mail Center staff are DOT/IATA trained and certified for shipping hazardous materials and substances.

If your shipment is too large for you to drop off at Receiving, please call ext. 8803 or 8666 to request a department pickup for shipping. We will be happy to assist you. Once again - plan ahead and plan accordingly. Shipping and Receiving can assist you with acquiring the proper packaging, container (box), and assist with researching and locating the most cost effective way to ship your item. With enough advance notice we can also look for recycled packing and containers (boxes) for additional savings to you and your department.
