Department of Medicine Faculty Appointment and Promotion Criteria
The Medical Grand Rounds Committee meets on the fourth Wednesday every other month. This committee monitors the presentations and outlines the guidelines and policy for the Medical Grand Rounds program. This Committee is led by Rami Haddad, MD.
The Committee has the responsibility of delineating curriculum for the program and the members are instrumental in providing quality and timely topics for the diverse audience they represent. The audience is comprised of local community physicians, in-house basic sciences, in-house clinical physicians, housestaff and medical students. Members of the local pharmaceutical companies frequently attend the Wednesday conferences, as do specialists in the field of the presenting topic.
Continuing Medical Education Credits are given to attendees.
