Required of all 2nd year graduate students in the interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program and in the CMP Department. Third year graduate students who have not had this course will also be required to enroll in it. It will also be offered as an elective for all Graduate Students and as a sophomore elective for medical students. GCMP 600 – Fall Quarter; 2 credits GCMP 601 – Winter Quarter; 2 credits
2009-2010 Neuropharmacology Schedule Fall lectures present a comprehensive overview of the cellular foundations of neuropharmacology and will provide a background to the topics covered in the remainder of the course, which focuses on neurotransmitter systems and how these participate on specific behaviors. Final lecture will attempt to integrate basic neuropharmacology research with the translational aspects of drug discovery.
