The Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences is an investigative health science discipline dedicated to the education and promotion of all aspects of clinical laboratory sciences practice concerned with diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of disease for the maintenance of health.

The Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences provides its students with the intellectual, physical and emotional climate necessary to acquire the knowledge, attitudes and skills of their chosen discipline. We provide students with the opportunities to acquire the knowledge, attitudes and skills of self-directed learners who will maintain their competence following graduation.

In addition, we strive to provide continuing education resources to assist the allied health professionals of the community in the maintenance of their professional competence.
