MISSION The mission of the Department of Medical Radiation Physics is to provide the best possible academic and professional training to those who wish to pursue a career in medical radiation physics, whether as clinical physics practitioners or to pursue a medical education and then become specialists in one of the clinical areas of radiation medicine, such as diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, as well as other related sub-specialties. In addition, we subscribe to the excellence in both didactic and research endeavors in preparing and encouraging those students who have academic and scientific aspiration as future teachers and scientists in the application of radiation in medicine.
