Research

Students are required to participate in one of two research tracks during their education; either a traditional research project with a written Masters Thesis, or an Evidence-Based Medicine project, involving smaller research and writing projects on a number of clinical medicine topics. Students select a research track in their area of interest early in their first year and work on various research competencies throughout the program’s 2 years. Prior to graduation, students present an oral defense of their work to fellow students, faculty, and interested clinicians.

Details regarding both options for research are discussed in greater detail in the course, HPAS 528 - Research & Statistics.
