Student Interest Group in Neurology (SIGN) is a group of medical students at Chicago Medical School (CMS) exploring the practice of Neurology together. The organization is supported by the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and the CMS Neurology Department with Dr. Jan Lewis Brandes as a faculty sponsor.
SIGN was started in 2002 and we organize several very worthwhile activities, such as a panel of Neurologists, advice from M4's matched in Neurology, patient presentations, seminars and other events. Also, SIGN, via AAN, provides student scholarships.
