State-of-the-Art History Taking and Physical Examination Review: Improve Your Clinical Efficiency March 7-8, 2008
The Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University will host the annual continuing education activity, State-of-the-Art History Taking and Physical Examination Review, on March 7-8, 2008, to offer podiatric professionals an opportunity to improve clinical efficiency. This certificate program was developed in response to requests from podiatric physicians who want to refine and enhance their skills in performing history and physical examinations on admitted patients. The program is based on a course taken by students at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. By the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:
The program includes required reading prior to attending the program, a pretest on these studies and a review; then lectures, demonstrations and hands-on labs on each of the areas/systems examined. Standardized patients provide for a realistic patient encounter. Scholl College grants 18 continuing education contact hours for this course.
