The Office of Special Programs was created to develop programs that not only better meet the needs of the podiatric physician, but also are of the type that can best be offered by an educational institution. We go beyond podiatric medicine to incorporate programs for other healthcare practitioners who also encounter foot and ankle conditions. This is best reflected in the mission, “To educate those who now serve – providers of foot and ankle health care.”

Our services include:

• Supporting special programs and developing further certificate, continuing education (CE) and other programs to meet the needs of the podiatric profession
• Increasing exposure of the podiatric profession to other medical professionals (to ultimately increase recognition and recruitment)
• Advising student groups in the development and promotion of their program

Scholl College is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a sponsor of continuing education in podiatric medicine.
