Dr. DesLauriers obtained her pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2003. She has nine years experience as a pharmacist at the Illinois Poison Center. Dr. DesLauriers is a certified provider and instructor for Advanced Hazmat Life Support, a certified specialist in poison information, and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Applied Toxicology. She has published several book chapters, six peer reviewed manuscripts in quality journals, numerous abstracts and poster presentations, as well as toxicology related media publications and presentations.
