Biography
Jamie Holmes, PharmD, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, joined the College of Pharmacy in July 2011. Through her role as clinical faculty at the College, she will also practice as a Mental Health Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL, precepting students during experiential education. Dr. Holmes has had academic, clinical, and pharmaceutical industry experience since graduating from Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2009. She most recently completed training as a Neuropsychiatry Pharmacy Practice Resident at Rutgers University Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy in New Jersey. Prior to residency, she completed a one-year post doctoral fellowship in Medical Information through the Rutgers Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship program. Dr. Holmes has served the profession through various roles in Phi Delta Chi Professional Pharmacy Fraternity, Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society, the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists, and other state and national pharmacy associations.
