Biography
Dr. Hunter received her bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Texas Woman's University, a Master of Science in Health Professions with an emphasis in allied health education from Texas State University and a PhD in higher education administration from the University of Texas at Austin.  Originally from Los Alamos, New Mexico, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings including acute care, brain injury rehabilitation, and vestibular rehabilitation. She has taught in physical therapy higher education since 1985 and has also taught a variety of continuing education courses for rehabilitation professionals.  Dr. Hunter was distinguished with an outstanding teaching award from the College of Health Professions at Texas State University in 2003 - 2004.  Her teaching areas include education, clinical education, and neuroscience.
