Fang (Amanda) Lin, DSc, MMed, BEng, joined Scholl College in January 2013 and serves as the director of the Human Performance Laboratory at CLEAR, as well as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery and Applied Biomechanics. She has been the author on over 30 peer-reviewed journal papers and has ample experience in orthopaedic biomechanics and pressure ulcer research. Dr. Lin received her Doctor of Science degree in electronic engineering and information processing from the University of Science and Technology, Hefei, China and a Master of Medicine from Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China before completing a postdoctoral fellowship in biomechanics at Northwestern University, Chicago, USA in 2003. Her research interests are in the orthopaedic and rehabilitation biomechanics.
Before joining Scholl, Dr. Lin was a Research Assistant Professor in Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences at Northwestern University, Chicago, IL, USA.
Dr. Lin is a member of IEEE/EMBS and ORS.
