Biography

Kimberly Redelsheimer, MHSA, FACHE has over ten years of experience in healthcare and was most recently the Director of Donor Counseling at LifeSource Blood Services. Prior to that, she held upper-level administration positions at two large Chicago area hospitals serving as Director of Pathology and Ambulatory Services at Mercy Hospital and as Assistant Vice President at Holy Cross Hospital. 

Through her work at LifeSource and in hospital settings, Ms. Redelsheimer has worked with all facets of healthcare management, such as day to day operational/personnel management, strategic planning, quality improvement initiatives, policy making, physician relationships, board of trustee committees, risk management, facility/property management and marketing.  She has worked extensively with regulatory agencies that promote quality in the healthcare industry such as the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), College of American Pathologists (CAP), Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical School Education (ACGME), and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). Ms. Redelsheimer has experience working with clinical and non-clinical support services in the hospital setting such as pathology, radiology, physical therapy/occupational therapy/speech, respiratory, housekeeping, food and nutrition, and security. She has also worked with hospital-owned physician practices and clinics.

Ms. Redelsheimer received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Business from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI and then went on to receive her Master's Degree in Health Services Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
