Nick Weatherton, PharmD, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice joined the College of Pharmacy in 2012. He earned his PharmD degree from Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA. Dr. Weatherton completed his Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) in North Chicago, IL. The FHCC is a first-of-its-kind partnership between the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense. Dr. Weatherton practices in an ambulatory care clinic with a focus on: anticoagulation, hyperlipidemia, hypertension and diabetes mellitus. The clinic provides services to active duty Navy patients as well as military retirees. Dr. Weatherton’s research interests include C. difficile and pharmacoeconomics. He serves on the Curriculum and Strategic Planning Committees.
