Authority to negotiate Research Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements, Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements and License Agreements
on behalf of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science is delegated to the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR). The authorizing official for Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science is the Vice President for Research or/and the Director of OSR as his designee. Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science does not honor contracts or commitments made on its behalf by unauthorized individuals.
While initial discussions between industrial sponsors and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science faculty or senior research staff occur in a variety of ways, no program or project may be established or undertaken unless a carefully defined research proposal, including a budget, has been submitted through the university's internal review procedures, and an acceptable funding agreement has been negotiated and signed by the authorized representatives of both parties.
