Alexander Kendall, MS, PA-C


Alex Kendall, MS, PA-C, has served as Faculty since October 2014, currently serving as Director of Curriculum and Assessment for the Physician Assistant Department and Instructor for Health Services Administration, teaching general medicine units and population health. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Tufts University, and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Prior to graduate school he lived in Chiapas, Mexico where he volunteered for the Mexican Red cross and worked as an English teacher. In 2010 he received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Clinically, he has worked in urgent care, headed a skilled extended care facility, and was the founding Hospitalist PA at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital in 2010, where he served as the lead preceptor for 5 years. Alex’s primary interests include health literacy, population medicine and active learning. He continues to promote the art of medicine, communication and an engaging learning environment.
