Dr. Kathleen Fisher received her doctorate of nursing practice (DNP) from University of Illinois. She is a passionate and highly effective Advance Practice RN with multiple certifications in critical care, pediatrics, and a simulation educator certified by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (CHSE). She maintains excellence in interdisciplinary curriculum development across multiple disciplines, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professions. Dr. Fisher has proven ability to design, measure and execute high fidelity simulation. She maintains the ability to manage, and integrate simulation programs into educational curriculum, which has measurable outcomes. She has clinical, academic and consulting experience. Dr. Fisher has delivered over 72 local, national & international professional presentations. These proven skills transcend all levels of education from profession-specific to college settings including undergraduate and graduate training, targeting the methodology of the adult learner. She remains active in associations and study related to education using simulation with most medical disciplines.

Her extracurricular activities include spending time with her 9 grandchildren and traveling.
