Dr. Avalos graduated from Universidad Central del Ecuador and completed a Doctorate in General Medicine and Surgery. He served for 4 years as a Medical Assistant during his medical education at Hospital Eugenio Espejo and did his Internship year at the same hospital. The he entered to Texas Woman’s University, were completed a Doctoral in Kinesiology with focus in Clinical Biomechanics. Dr. Avalos was always passionate about human movement and the limitations in people with disabilities. His research interest is in special population ambulation and the use of walking-aids. He joined the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2019 as a Research Associate. On 2021 Dr. Avalos has been appointed as a lecturer for the Podiatric Surgery and Applied Biomechanics department, were he has supported teaching in 1) Clinical Research, 2) Human Pathology, and 3) Lower Extremity Anatomy.
